Common questions

When can I get Samiio?

Samiio is in testing now and coming soon to iPhone. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you the moment it’s ready.

Which devices does Samiio work with?

Samiio is an iPhone app. It reads data from Apple Health, so it works with an Apple Watch and with rings, straps and other wearables that share their data with Apple Health. You can also connect Oura directly from Profile, then Connected devices. Whoop is coming soon.

How do I connect Apple Health?

Open the Stats tab and tap Connect Apple Health, then choose what Samiio can read. To change this later, open the iPhone Settings app, then Health, then Data Access & Devices, then Samiio.

Why can’t I see my HRV?

Some wearables, including Oura, don’t share HRV with Apple Health. If you have an Oura ring, connect it directly from Profile, then Connected devices, and your HRV will appear. Without that, Samiio still works out your resting heart rate from the heart rate your wearable records while you sleep.

My numbers look different from my wearable’s app

In the Health app, open Browse, choose the measurement (for example Active Energy), then Data Sources & Access, and drag your wearable to the top of the list. Samiio compares you with your own normal, so small differences between devices don’t change your coaching.

How do I connect or disconnect Oura?

Go to Profile, then Connected devices, and tap Connect next to Oura. Sign in to Oura, approve Samiio and you’ll come straight back to the app. To stop sharing, tap Disconnect Oura in the same place; Samiio deletes the Oura data it stored.

How do I upload a blood test or other health test?

Open the Stats tab, tap My Health Data, then Upload Test Results. You can take a photo, choose an image or upload a PDF. Samiio’s analysis is for wellness and education, not medical advice.

I’ve forgotten my password

On the sign in screen, tap Forgot password? and we’ll email you a link to set a new one. If you’re already signed in, go to Profile, then Change Password.

How do I change my notifications?

Go to Profile, then Notification Settings. You can switch each type of reminder on or off, or pause them all.

How do leaderboards work?

Leaderboards are optional. If you join, other members see your display name, your photo if you allow it, and your points and streaks, never your health details, meals or conversations. You can leave at any time.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile, then Delete My Account. This permanently deletes your account and your data, including meals, photos, test results and conversations.

Is Samiio medical advice?

No. Samiio is a wellness coach, not a medical service or device. Always speak to a qualified healthcare professional about medical questions or before making big changes to your health plan.
